The Quarterly event of the SWFL Business Alliance was a huge success. We’d like to thank everyone who came, including our business owners, managers, and employees!
The event was titled “A FOCUS ON EMPLOYMENT ISSUES,” and it brought together business owners and educational leaders for an information exchange meeting on The Role of Businesses in Education.
We started by bringing some of the leaders together to exchange information and ideas. Speakers from Lee County Economic Development, FGCU, Hodges University, Lee County School District, and various job placement, career development, and educational foundations spoke about their experiences and ideas to set our future businesses and workforce up for success. We concluded the event with some networking amongst one another to share our thoughts on the speakers’ thoughts and how we can help accomplish our goals as a community.
We expect to hold these luncheons quarterly as other networking events in the future.
